- What do PPF and efficacy actually tell me?
- PPF (µmol/s) is the total photon output of the fixture. Efficacy (µmol/J) is how many photons you get per watt consumed. PPF tells you how much light you have to distribute; efficacy tells you what it costs to run. Both are listed on every product page.
- How many fixtures do I need for my room?
- It depends on room dimensions, hang height, crop and target PPFD. Send us those four things through the contact form and we will come back with a layout, or ask Big G Ai for a first estimate.
- Can I dim the fixtures?
- Yes. The range uses RS485 cascading dimming, and the Big G controller can run scheduled dimming curves so the room follows a programme rather than a switch.
- Does the room keep running if the network drops?
- Yes. Lighting schedules, dimming curves and climate setpoints run on the controller itself. The network is for monitoring and record-keeping, not for keeping the room alive.
- What happens to my environmental data?
- Readings are retained with timestamps so you can export a continuous record. Each room takes its numbers from one designated primary device — we never substitute a nearby sensor to fill a gap.
- Do you ship outside the United States?
- We have deployments in the United States, Thailand and the EU. Tell us where you are and we will confirm what is possible for your region.
